Water Treatment Operations Manager

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the smooth operation of water treatment plants across New South Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to take on a challenging leadership position, where they will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations are delivered in accordance with health and safety, environmental, legislative, and corporate obligations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating project delivery, subcontractor management, and supplier logistics on-site
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS, SUPPLIERS, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND REGULATORY AGENCIES
  • Managing field-based project delivery, including labor, equipment, trades, logistics, and other resources
  • Maintaining optimal plant operations and conducting regular monitoring
  • Conducting water quality sampling and ensuring adherence to established procedures
  • Carrying out routine maintenance duties and managing resources, tools, and equipment effectively
  • Participating in safety and environmental management processes to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising site operations, specializing in water projects
  • Knowledge and practical experience in water treatment operations
  • Proven ability to manage Quality, Environmental, and OH&S Management systems in field-based or industrial environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, team members, colleagues, external suppliers, and regulatory bodies
  • Able to travel interstate as required
  • Possession of a valid police clearance check (ability to obtain baseline Department of Defence security clearance)
  • Certification in Water Treatment or similar is desirable
