A vital role has become available for an Allied Health Assistant to join our care team. This dynamic position plays a significant part in supporting the wellbeing, independence, and re-enablement of older adults in our Residential Aged Care facility.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working under the delegation and supervision of Physiotherapists and other Allied Health Professionals. You will be responsible for delivering safe, person-centred exercise programs tailored to individual needs and group settings.

This exciting opportunity allows you to make a real impact on the lives of older people, encouraging independence and participation through movement. In this role, you will run functional fitness and wellness classes, facilitate re-enablement programs, and provide 1:1 support to clients based on clinical direction.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy) or equivalent qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in Fitness. Additionally, you should have experience in physiotherapy assistance, knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe and effective exercise within the aging population, and a warm, friendly, and empathic approach with a passion for Aged Care.
