Job Overview

As a Supply Chain Technician, you will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding supply chain partners across freight and warehousing markets. You will maintain and manage relationships with various suppliers, develop and maintain a register of freight rates, and obtain and verify transport rates from logistics service providers.

The Logistics Supplier Management team plays a key role in the sourcing and onboarding of freight suppliers. They are responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with third-party providers and conducting analysis as required.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage contracts and coordinate the flow of information. Your analytical skills will be used to analyze discrepancies and develop solutions to minimize operational and financial impact.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Minchinbury, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.

To succeed in this role, you will need a background in Supply Chain or Logistics, particularly in Freight management or procurement. You will also require proven experience working in an operational environment with an emphasis on data analysis.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Excel
