Job Description:

The Chief Risk Officer will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of an enterprise risk management framework to identify, assess, measure, and mitigate risks in alignment with the mission, values, and strategic objectives.

This role requires a strategic risk leader with significant experience as a trusted adviser. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance functions, and bring multi-faceted systems-thinking to this critical leadership position.

The Chief Risk Officer will also support the work of Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care Limited (SCECE&C), working closely with the Chief Early Childhood Officer to ensure that risk management practices are embedded across all early learning services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the enterprise risk management framework
  • Identify, assess, measure, and mitigate risks in alignment with the mission, values, and strategic objectives
  • Support the work of Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care Limited (SCECE&C)
  • Work closely with the Chief Early Childhood Officer to ensure that risk management practices are embedded across all early learning services
