We are seeking multiple full-time Vocationally Registered General Practitioners across three major locations in regional Queensland:
- Chinchilla
- St George
As a General Practitioner at Goondir Health Services, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing culturally responsive patient consultations that address the complex health needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Managing chronic disease and preventative health plans, leveraging telehealth and local referral pathways to enhance care coordination.
- Collaborating with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and allied health teams to deliver holistic care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social determinants of health.
- Supporting maternal and child health, mental health, and wellbeing initiatives, recognizing the interplay between physical and mental health.
- Ensuring compliance with AGPAL and ISO clinical governance standards, upholding the trust placed in us by our patients and the broader community.
- Participating in monthly peer support and professional development forums, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

The Ideal CandidateTo be considered, you must be a Vocationally Registered (VR) GP, holding Fellowship with RACGP, ACRRM, or an equivalent college, along with unrestricted AHPRA registration. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in general practice, with a strong understanding of cultural safety principles and community-based care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A passion for delivering patient-centred care that addresses the unique needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
