Club Management Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of a Club Manager in Darwin. This hands-on position involves providing friendly, safe, legal, and responsible management of a licensed club.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the club according to management contracts, licenses, legislation, and local requirements.
  • Roster, supervise, train, manage, and develop employees to achieve high performance standards.
  • Prepare financial reports daily, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise bar operations in accordance with licensing, health, and hygiene requirements, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patrons.
  • Oversee catering operations in accordance with health and hygiene requirements, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Foster a culture of ethical behavior, responsible service of alcohol, and commitment to work health and safety.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of Club, Bar, or Hotel Food and Beverage supervisor level experience, demonstrating leadership skills and industry knowledge.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including the Liquor Act 2019 NT, and ability to maintain certification.
  • A current RSA Certificate less than three years old, ensuring responsible service practices.
  • A safe food handling certificate or ability to obtain, upholding high standards of food safety.
  • Experience using electronic systems for cash handling, financial reporting, and stock control, improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build strong relationships with staff, patrons, and stakeholders.
  • The capacity to align daily activities with organizational values and mission.
  • A valid Driver's Licence, enabling flexibility in work arrangements.
