Main Responsibilities- Lead and mentor investigators, providing expert guidance and oversight to ensure investigations are thorough, procedurally fair, and trauma-informed.
- Oversee investigation allocation and progress, including complex and historical cases.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold legislative and policy obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement in safeguarding practices and systems.
- Extensive experience in leading investigations, particularly involving vulnerable children and young people.
- A passion for child safety and sound understanding of Victorian child safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify risk.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and exceptional interpersonal and report writing skills.
