An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Petrologist to join our Laboratory team in Brendale. As a Petrologist, you will provide clients with professional services and advice in relation to petrographic analysis of construction material samples.
Responsibilities
Your duties include:
- Petrographic sample analysis and reporting to relevant standards
- Review and sign off of petrographic analysis reports
- Liaising with clients and other consulting staff
- Meeting project deadlines and carrying out other duties as required
Requirements
We are looking for a Petrologist with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Petrology, or a related field. You should have strong knowledge of rock and mineral analysis techniques and methods, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
