Job Title: Cultural Heritage Program Lead

Job Description

This role is designed to manage the city's historical and cultural legacy. The incumbent will oversee the development and operation of the Civic Archive and associated digitisation program for heritage records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the ongoing development and operation of the Civic Archive and associated digitisation program for heritage records.
  • Support the Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee and convene the Civic Collection Acquisition and Deaccession Working Group.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of key projects, and programs that deliver historical and cultural heritage information to the community.
Requirements

We are seeking a collaborative and community-focused individual who is deeply passionate about cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and qualifications in cultural heritage, museum studies, or a related field, along with a strong foundation in heritage research and project management.
