The Role of an Internal Auditor is Crucial for Business Growth.

Job Description:

This is a highly demanding role that plays a vital part in the success of our organisation by assisting to achieve its objectives and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive end-to-end internal audits as per the approved Audit Plan.
  • Manage, coordinate, and undertake consulting and advisory engagements requested by the business.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster a positive assurance culture across the organisation.
  • Provide expert audit advice and support to leaders to continuously enhance processes and risk management outcomes.
  • Communicate findings, recommend improvements, and verify resolution of corrective actions in a timely and accurate manner.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proven experience in internal or external audit within a complex organisation.
  • Certified Internal Auditor / Chartered Accountant / Certified Practising Accountant qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Detailed understanding of auditing rules and regulations.
  • Relevant industry experience in rail and logistics is highly valued.
