Internal Audit Lead

About the Role:Duties:
  • Develop the Internal Audit Plan aligned to business risks and strategic objectives
  • Implement the Internal Audit plan by delivering high-quality audits overseeing all aspects
  • Identify improvement opportunities across the business
  • Provide advice to business units on governance and control enhancements
  • Contribute to the improvement of the delivery and performance of systems
  • Maintain effective relationships with business units and external parties
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in business, finance, accounting or equivalent
  • 5+ years in Internal Audit, External Audit or Governance fields
  • Strong commercial acumen and technical experience in delivering Technology related assurance including Cyber Security, Information Security, IT General Controls, Project Assurance, Digital Transformation, Technology resilience and disaster recovery
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal audit plans, conduct efficient and effective internal audits, and provide practical and relevant recommendations to management
  • Experience in the Information Media and Telecommunications sector is desirable
  • Strong understanding of International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing of the Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA), and Technology Risk Frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001 and relevant industry codes
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, resilient and agile working style
  • Effective communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, stakeholder-focused and organised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High moral standing, independent and objective
