Energy Trading Leadership Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to shape and inspire a team in the energy trading sector. We are seeking a seasoned leader with experience in formulating and implementing trading strategies, as well as mentoring staff through performance reviews and training plans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving change across the wholesale markets and business development team, working collaboratively with energy risk and commercial services. Key responsibilities include taking responsibility for wholesale markets gross margin, motivating and leading a multidisciplinary team, and designing and implementing trading strategies to optimize risk-adjusted return.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience working across financial and energy trading markets.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating and presenting executive-level briefings.
  • An initiative-taking, self-driven leader who is driven by process improvement, transformation, and change.
