About the Role

This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer expectations are met at all stages of our ordering & delivery processes. You will provide excellent service whilst taking orders, batching concrete to customer specifications, and scheduling and allocating deliveries to maximise efficiency and utilisation of our concrete agitator trucks.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Representative: Represent the company brand and provide excellent phone-based customer service.
  • Order Taker: Take orders and finalise the sale of pre-mixed concrete for delivery.
  • Batching Operator: Batch concrete to specific mix designs via a computerised system.
  • Roster Coordinator: Use software packages to schedule rostering and truck movements for the region.
  • Chain of Responsibility Officer: Ensure Chain of Responsibility requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Procurement Specialist: Order raw materials.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
  • Computer Confidence: Confident when working with computers.
  • Plant Operations: Plant Operator (FEL preferred).
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of constant change.
