The Procurement Manager role is based at our Jandakot manufacturing facility, where you will work with a driven and inspiring team that values excellent benefits, including free parking, a supportive culture, birthday leave, and generous parental leave provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • National Procurement Strategy: Set and execute the national procurement strategy across direct and indirect categories (materials, packaging, logistics, services).
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the Australian procurement team; drive a positive, outcome-focused culture.
  • Sourcing: Run end-to-end sourcing: market scans, RFI/RFP/RFQ, commercial evaluation, negotiation and contracting.
  • Vendor Performance: Build robust SRM and vendor performance frameworks (OTIF, quality, service, risk, sustainability).
  • Supply Chain Management: Partner with Operations, Planning/S&OP, Finance, QA, People and Culture and HSE to align demand, manage risk and optimise working capital.
  • Process Improvement: Embed best-practice policies, SOP's, controls, and data discipline; improve systems and processes (incl. MRP/ERP touchpoints).
  • Supply Risk: Monitor supply risk and continuity (including cold-chain and logistics dependencies); implement contingency plans.
  • Financial Reporting: Track and report value delivery (savings/avoidance, cost-to-serve, inventory/DOI), and present clear insights to execs.
  • Compliance: Ensure suppliers are compliant to environmental, social, food safety, people and culture, and health and safety policies.

You Will Bring:

  • Senior Procurement Experience: 8+ years' experience in a senior procurement role.
  • Purchasing Team Management: Proven management of purchasing teams within a manufacturing/assembly environment.
  • MRP Fundamentals: Solid grasp of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) fundamentals and ERP integration.
  • Strategic Procurement: Strategic procurement mindset with a track record of best-practice process implementation.
  • RFX Capability: Strong RFX (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and vendor management capability.
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Agile Environment: Comfortable operating in an agile, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Commercial Awareness: Highly commercial, data-driven, and financially literate.
