About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering professional to drive the delivery and growth of our cloud-based data platforms and analytics services.

This individual will be instrumental in driving enterprise data transformation initiatives, focusing on data movement, transformation, storage, and visualization using the Azure technology stack.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical skills in building ETL/ELT pipelines, data products, and visualizations that are robust, scalable, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related tools
  • Build and optimize data storage solutions (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Lake, Delta/Parquet)
  • Enable advanced analytics use cases across large and complex datasets
  • Support operational decision-making through reliable, high-quality data pipelines
  • Lead and mentor other engineers, including code reviews and feedback on best practices
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and SMEs to align delivery to business needs
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally with leadership or mentoring exposure
  • Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT solutions in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
  • Experience with distributed computing engines (e.g. Spark, Databricks) and data modeling for performance
  • Hands-on experience across tools such as Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Data Lake Storage, Visual Studio, and Dev Ops
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based data services, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must hold (or be eligible to obtain) Baseline security clearance
