Communications Specialist for Children's Health

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Health Workforce Queensland and take on the rewarding role of Communications Specialist for Children's Health. This challenging yet fulfilling position requires you to use your skills and expertise to support children with communication needs.
About the RoleAs a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing evidence-based interventions, reviewing and recommending assistive technology, and providing funding recommendations for children with communication and speech goals. You will deliver services in a person-centered manner using a strengths-based approach, aiming to be flexible to meet client needs.
Your work will involve clinic, home, and community services, ensuring that you have a range of experiences and opportunities to grow as a professional. You will be supported by an experienced supervisor and a warm and professional clinic team of admin and multi-disciplinary allied health.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent degree
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or eligibility for the same
- Working with children check
- NDIS worker screening check
Salary Information: $85,000 - $98,000 per annum
