Join us.Job DescriptionJoin AECOM's Transport Group in South-East Queensland as a Technical Director, with a strong focus on project management.
You will step into a dynamic role that blends leadership, innovation and project delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to guide a talented multidisciplinary group of professionals as a project leader for the delivery of complex, region-shaping projects.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major transport infrastructure projects.
Your project management skills will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, and implement best practices in project management to drive efficiency and excellence in project outcomes.
Cultivate a culture of excellence, inspiring teams to deliver high-quality results that achieve or exceed client expectations.
Engage regularly with clients, allowing you to forge strong relationships and truly understand their needs, which is essential for driving satisfaction and securing repeat business.

Collaborate with an industry-leading team on large-scale transport projects across Queensland and Australia.
Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and partners.
Drive business success by leading strategy development, digital delivery initiatives, and integrating innovative technologies.
QualificationsWhat are we looking for from you? Tertiary qualification in engineering with 20+ years of experience, suitable to hold (or obtain) RPEQ status in Queensland.
Proven experience as Project Manager for major transport infrastructure projects, including work with TMR.
Knowledge of the Queensland consulting services market, including Business Cases, D&C, ECI, and ETI delivery.
Strong leadership with a focus on achieving results, growing teams, and balancing priorities.
Excellent client relationships, business development experience, and understanding of resourcing planning and forecasting.
