Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable professional to join our team. This is a full-time position working 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payments of accounts from debtors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintaining debtor and account records
  • Generating invoices and account statements
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
  • Monitoring customer accounts details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Producing monthly summary reports
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
  • Processing business bank statements daily
  • Processing manufacturer credits
  • Collecting and opening mail
  • Banking
  • Answering phone enquiries

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • 2 years minimum experience in accounts
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Customer service focused
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and assist and support others when needed
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience in Auto-IT software (also known as Equip or Units) is highly desirable
