Job Overview\

As a dynamic leader, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. You will inspire and motivate your centre team to provide high-quality early learning and care.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence

We are a 75 place purpose-built centre located in central Bendigo. Our centre is on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung people and we embed the culture and values of the Djaara people into our curriculum and environments.

Our centre is highly engaged with families and local community, with many incursions and excursions occurring throughout the year.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\
  • Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Holds a current Police Check or is willing to obtain one upon request
  • Substantial experience as a Senior Educator or in a similar role
