Role Overview
As a design expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and creative output of innovative and engaging solutions tailored for a diverse customer base. Your primary goal is to develop exceptional end-to-end experiences. You will collaborate across various cross-functional teams in agile, customer-centric environments, engaging in all phases of the design process from project discovery to final delivery.
Within the MYOB Financial Services & Benefits design team, you will mentor fellow designers, support their growth, and contribute to the enrichment of our culture and broader design community.
You will influence the strategy and initiatives within the Originations and Payments sectors by advocating for customer needs. Your commitment to excellence will ensure that both the output and outcomes consistently meet our high standards.
Desired Qualifications for Designers
- Proficient in research and discovery methodologies.
- Expertise in product design—crafting and refining user experiences while balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
- A systematic approach to tackling complex challenges and delivering impactful solutions that drive business metrics.
- Familiarity with Agile development principles.
- Experience working with design systems to create cohesive experiences from shared components.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, capable of working independently, and adept at managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional workshop facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Designer.
Additional Preferred Skills
• Strong visual design capabilities
• Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) environments
• Background in financial services

- 5-8 years of experience in product design, welcoming candidates from diverse design backgrounds.
- As a seasoned product design generalist, you will confidently lead the design process from discovery to delivery.
- You will possess the ability to understand and influence business strategy through design.
- While experience in financial services is beneficial, your design expertise is paramount.
