Heavy Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for performing general and intermediate welding, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, and conducting repairs and regular maintenance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about heavy fabrication and has a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Daily Duties:- Perform general and intermediate welding including Aluminium and stainless steel.
- Repair, fabricate and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Conduct repairs, parts change-outs, and regular maintenance.
- Assist with capital manufacturing projects.
- E nsure all work complies with quality assurance protocols and safety standards.
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade is essential.
- Proven experience in a fabrication workshop or similar role.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
- Availability for occasional weekend and on-call work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A valid 'C' class driver's license is required.
- Use of Autocad preferred but not essential.
