Job Title: Heavy Fabrication Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate high-quality metal components using various fabrication techniques.
  • Operate a range of machine tools and hand tools to achieve precise results.
  • Perform welding tasks, including MIG processes, to meet industry standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and designs to inform fabrication work.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances to meet customer requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Heavy Fabrication (or equivalent trade qualification)
  • Relevant experience in structural fabrication or medium-to-heavy industry fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs
  • Ability to perform fabrication and assembly of components in a workshop environment
  • Able to pass a weld test to AS1554 standard - MIG and TMR standards
  • High Risk Licence, Forklift (desirable)
  • Valid driver's licence and own transport
