Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an exceptional leader to become the General Manager of our esteemed Club Wyndham Sydney property. This is a rare opportunity to lead a vibrant and dynamic property in one of the world's most iconic cities.

About the Role

The General Manager will be responsible for the daily operational success of the hotel, planning, implementing, and monitoring sales and marketing strategies. This is a hands-on position, ideally suited to a hospitality professional with proven hotel operational knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain a high-quality property, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge

About You

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Proven experience in a similar position, preferably with a global hospitality company
  • Comprehensive commercial knowledge and understanding of the hospitality sector
  • Self-starter with initiative, confidence, professionalism, and good judgment
  • Results-driven with strong financial and business acumen
  • Effective leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong, positive professional relationships with internal and external clients
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Impeccable presentation standards
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications and Property Management Systems
