Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our quality improvement initiatives in the Cath Lab. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated professional to make a real difference in patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, with experience in leading quality improvement projects. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient safety and outcomes, as well as collaborating with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also have access to a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives in the Cath Lab, focusing on improving patient safety and outcomes;
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care;
  • Work closely with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers;
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient information and quality improvement activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing degree and current registration with AHPRA;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in cardiac care, with a focus on quality improvement;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
