About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Deployment Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Network Infrastructure Design team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop teams of technicians and engineers to ensure highest levels of performance.
  • Deliver capacity to existing data centers and help build and bring online new data centers.
  • Constantly improve all processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Liaise with internal teams and management groups to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to and exceed local health and safety standards in all data centers.
  • Create and maintain metrics on all aspects of our data centers and utilize those metrics to drive positive changes.
  • Assist in implementing service methodologies, including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, etc.
Requirements
  • An engineering degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant engineering or manufacturing operations experience, of which 3+ years in a people management experience, building and managing technical teams.
  • Incident and vendor management experience with security and health and safety awareness.
  • Proven ability in driving and managing metrics/KPIs with a high degree of organization and detail-orientation.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Words, Excel, Project Visio, and PowerPoint).
