About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented Engineering Project Manager to lead the capacity, capital planning, and project execution for the continued expansion of our fulfillment network in Japan and beyond. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to deliver network capacity on time, while managing critical path and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and vendor management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to plan and track deliverables, ensuring timely and within-budget project execution.
  • Define, drive, and simplify strategy, while being detail-oriented and agile to manage business changes and drive initiatives.
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal teams and vendors to review project progress, identify lessons learned, and propose continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Project Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Conversant with leading-edge technology, including software, hardware, and robotics.
  • Ability to perform onsite hardware and software support during initial system deployment.
  • Proven experience leading overall end-to-end project delivery, including resources, Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), schedule, and vendor management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level.
  • Experience working with and managing third-party vendors.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing.
  • Business-level Japanese.
