Senior Water Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Water team at Stantec. As a Senior Water Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with company vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Business Leader in monitoring and reporting on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity.
- Initiate and manage business development opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate resource and technical development requirements for the team, working closely with Practice Leaders, Discipline Leaders, and other Group Leaders in the Water Business Centre.
- Ensure adherence to the Company's Project Management Fundamentals, working closely with the Project Management and Commercial Leader.
- Oversee the talent management lifecycle, including recruitment, career development, employee engagement, succession planning, coaching, and mentoring.
- Foster a success-oriented environment within the team, promoting collaborative behaviors and exerting measured influence.
- Promote a happy, supportive, and inclusive culture aligned with the company's core values.
- Monitor and improve the team's utilisation, forecasting, and business development efforts.
- Partner with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) to ensure compliance with company safety procedures and regulations.
- Achieve minimum LISI targets set by the Regional Director.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary activities and inputs from the technical team to ensure integrated technical solutions.
- Support delivery teams in a senior leadership and management role on projects.
- Perform engineering tasks relevant to your area of expertise when required on projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Relevant engineering tertiary qualification, preferably post-graduate.
