Job Title: Strategic Enforcement Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of key strategies, policies and procedures in a dynamic regulatory environment. As a Strategic Enforcement Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-level leadership to enforcement teams, building and maintaining a high-performing team with the appropriate capabilities and skill sets.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply complex professional judgment in enforcement matters. You will also have experience in investigating and gathering evidence, applying legislation and exercising statutory powers, and leading internal and external experts in complex investigations and litigation.

In this role, you will contribute to the achievement of AUSTRAC's strategic goals, represent the organization in external forums, and liaise with external and internal stakeholders in building and maintaining networks. You will also exercise approved delegations in accordance with legal and other requirements.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen at the time of application. You will need to undertake AUSTRAC's pre-engagement checks and obtain and maintain an ongoing Baseline Security Clearance.
