**Mining Engineer Position Overview**

As a key member of the mining operations team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering outputs through effective mine designs and schedules.

  • Designing and implementing mine plans to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and site standards;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including mining operations personnel;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements;
  • Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures;

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and scheduling for draglines, rope shovels, hydraulic excavators and haul fleet;
  • Monitoring and communicating progress to senior management and other stakeholders;
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with mining operations;
  • Developing and implementing daily, weekly and monthly plans to achieve business objectives;

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mining operations and engineering principles;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively;
