Food and Beverage Supervisor | Taronga Zoo

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Food and Beverage Supervisor to work and support the F&B team across multiple locations throughout Taronga Zoo. Reporting to the Retail Catering Manager – Taronga Zoo, you will be responsible for leading the successful management of a designated outlet, ensuring that all outlets operate in a sustainable, courteous and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage products.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, department standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Catering Manager to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
Requirements:
  • Supervisory experience in a similar high-volume outlet.
  • Compliance with department standards, to ensure that the department maintains the highest standard of hygiene and safety levels.
  • Availability across a 7 day week including nights as required during activations.
  • A current NSW RSA and be willing to obtain WWCC clearance.
  • Strong Barista skills.
  • Self-motivation with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of point of sale.
  • Passion for great quality food, beverage and service.
