Facilities Management Expert Required

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance of our commercial building assets in Adelaide, AU.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing multi-story commercial assets and their systems, with strong knowledge of building services, fire systems, and building intelligence.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing and responding to maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire, security), managing contractor performance and ensuring safety compliance, maintaining excellent tenant relations with a high level of customer service, and monitoring and managing property data (energy, water, waste).

You will also develop and maintain documentation and standard procedures, procure and tender contractors for PPM contracts and various projects, and respond to after-hours emergencies as required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and respond to maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire, security)
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure safety compliance
  • Maintain excellent tenant relations with a high level of customer service
  • Monitor and manage property data (energy, water, waste)
  • Develop and maintain documentation and standard procedures
  • Procure and tender contractors for PPM contracts and various projects
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as required
  • Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-story commercial assets and their systems
  • Strong knowledge of building services, fire systems, and building intelligence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A proactive, 'can-do,' achievement-oriented mindset
  • Flexible team player with practical problem-solving abilities
  • Computer literacy and adaptability with new technologies
  • Health & Safety Responsibilities:
  • Implement all relevant national, state, and local legislative requirements
  • Conduct site safety inspections and audits
  • Participate in account, site, and client committees/meetings as required
  • Ensure completion of statutory inspections and testing for the sites
  • Oversee compliance across assigned assets
