Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineering Team Lead to join our team. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for leading projects from planning to delivery, developing strategies to enhance our work and client engagement.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality results, leveraging your technical expertise, leadership skills, and knowledge of digital transformation to drive sustainability and reduce climate change impacts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning, design, and delivery activities for medium to large-scale bridge projects.
  • Manage design activities, including analysis, calculations, models, drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to benefit the business, manage resources, and financial performance.
  • Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of excellence, morale, and motivation.
Requirements:
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering, Chartered Engineer Membership of a professional body.
  • Significant industry experience in bridge inspection, assessment, and design within a consulting environment, knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects, developing less-experienced engineers, and structural analysis packages such as GSA/Strand/SpaceGass.
  • Familiarity with RMS/TfNSW design requirements and specifications advantageous.
