Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design Leader to lead our structural design team and oversee the delivery of bridge projects.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on our company's success.
  • You will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing bridge projects to meet program, scope, quality, and financial requirements.
  • Your expertise will be essential in delivering outstanding service to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To provide effective leadership and technical advice to the Sydney Bridge team.
  2. To model expected quality and OH&S behaviors within project delivery and on the job.
  3. To engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  4. To design, coordinate, and manage bridge projects across the life cycle – concept, design & construction, management, assessment, and end of life.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering.
  • 15 years' experience in bridge design and complex structures.
  • Registered Professional Engineer status.
  • Analysis experience with bridge software (SpaceGASS, Midas Civil).
  • Project Management skills and commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and mentoring emerging engineers.
