Library Support Role

We are seeking an individual to fill a part-time Library Support position.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment, providing courteous and efficient library services.

About the Position

This role involves assisting with the provision of library services, responding to enquiries, shelving, and collection maintenance. The position holder can be required to work at any of the Blue Mountains Library branches.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Assist clients with technology and basic troubleshooting
  • Work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Communicate effectively as part of a team
Requirements
  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver efficient and enthusiastic customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to assist clients with technology and basic troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork experience
