Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team.
This role involves providing exceptional customer care and making a difference in people's lives by helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
- Working with various insurance schemes, including Motor Accident Schemes, Worker's Compensation, and DVA
- Assisting and shadowing the rehab consulting team with onsite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, and home ADL assessments
- Report writing and other administrative tasks
- Designing, implementing, and monitoring programs for injured employees to return to the workforce
- Liaising with clients, medical practitioners, insurers, and employers to achieve outcomes for all parties
- Providing ad hoc support to a multidisciplinary team of Rehabilitation Consultants to assist clients in recovering from injury
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Chiropractic, or Rehab Counselling
- Ability to obtain registration upon graduation (final year applicants preferred)
- Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and driver's license is essential)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Determination to provide high-level customer service
