Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Job RoleWe are seeking a skilled professional to undertake occupational rehabilitation duties in Melbourne, Australia. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality services and making a positive impact on people's lives.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to:
- Work within diverse insurance frameworks
- Support and shadow experienced rehabilitation consultants during assessments
- Compile reports and perform administrative tasks
- Design, implement, and monitor programs that facilitate injured employees' return to work
- Negotiate with clients, medical practitioners, insurers, and employers to achieve optimal outcomes
- Provide supplementary support to a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation consultants
Requirements:
- Enrolled or near completion of Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Chiropractic, or Rehab Counselling degree
- Ability to obtain registration upon graduation (final year applicants preferred)
- Willingness to travel as required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Determination to consistently provide high-level customer service
- Keen sense of punctuality and effective time management
