Job Description:

This role will focus on leading educational excursions for primary and secondary school groups, as well as developing and delivering guided activities and programs to visitors.

Under the direction of the Discovery Coordinator, this position will create educational and leisure tours programs, train staff and volunteers, and ensure effective program delivery.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, self-management, and the ability to work independently while ensuring safety is a priority.

  • A current Working with Children check.
  • A First Aid Certificate and Australian Drivers Licence, or willingness to obtain.
  • Flexibility to work week-days, weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering interpretative guiding and/or educational programs.
  • Familiarity with Aboriginal culture and knowledge of local natural and historic/heritage values.
