Our school provides learning environments that cater for individual student learning needs. We have a Support Unit including classes for mild, moderate and severe intellectual disabilities, as well as four Multi-Categorical classes.
There is a strong tradition of student participation, and the school maintains productive links with local organisations.

Job Requirements
  • Approval to teach and/or experience teaching special education that will allow you to perform duties to support the learning needs of students with emotional disturbance, behaviour difficulties, Autism, mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, with a trauma informed practice approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Personalised Learning and Support Plans to maximise student growth, promote high expectations and ensure engagement to meet the diverse needs of students, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
  • Strong classroom management skills, creating a positive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing, authentic relationships and success, including collaborative practise with families, student and key stakeholders.
