**Role Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to support children and young people with social, physical, emotional, and behavioural needs in Special Education Schools and Support Units in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in education, disability or coaching sectors and be able to provide flexible and adaptable support to students with diverse needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to build experience working with individuals with autism/Asperger's syndrome and social emotional mental health difficulties.

  • Education support qualifications and/or relevant experience
  • Previous work experience in the education, disability, or coaching sector
  • Ability to adapt to different settings and provide individualized support
  • Comfortable assisting students with toileting needs from K-12 level

**Required Qualifications and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NSW DET SLSO number
  • Experience or interest in special educational needs
  • Valid Paid Working with Children's Employee Check
  • Mandatory DET Certificates (E-Emergency Care, Child Protection, DET Anaphylaxis)
  • Details of at least two supervisory referees within education and/or another sector involving children
