Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified educator to provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties.

  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Create and deliver structured literacy programs to help children overcome reading and spelling challenges.
  • Design and teach customized educational programs for students with a range of literacy and numeracy difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed tertiary education in teaching or a related field.
  • Experience working with children who require special accommodations.
  • A solid understanding of evidence-based literacy programs, such as Structured Synthetic Phonics.

This is a part-time contract position requiring flexibility on weekday afternoons as part of a collaborative team of educators and professionals.

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher with experience in special education.
  • Working with Children Check (required).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
