Product Design Specialist Role Overview:
The Product Design Specialist is accountable for creating and modifying product designs.
- Developing design briefs, understanding machine capabilities and limitations.
- Concept generation and development of innovative product solutions.
- Design detailing, technical drawing and drafting.
- Generating production documentation including assembly instructions, part numbers and bill of materials in inventory management software.
- Process specific files such as profile cutting lists and DXF files.
- Supplier files like laser bend weld and auspring data.
- Spare parts manuals and operator guides.
