About the Role

The Yard Person/Vehicle Coordinator is a crucial position in our organization, ensuring our fleet is properly maintained and ready for customers. Based at our South Melbourne Hub, this role plays a vital part in our operational setup.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all vehicles are cleaned, fueled, and serviced prior to customer handover.
  • Managing the depot's vehicle inventory, maintaining a neat and tidy carpark area.
  • Moving vehicles between specified locations as required (service, warranty, etc.).
  • Inspecting and documenting damage to vehicles.
  • Reviewing and approving accident-repaired vehicles.
  • Organizing the depot daily, ensuring vehicles are parked securely and efficiently.
  • Assisting stakeholders with vehicle pickups, including service and accident repairs.
  • Coordinating regular servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
  • Preparing new vehicles for delivery, including telematic device installation.
  • Supporting de-fleet preparation, including sale-ready vehicle preparation.

Requirements:

  • A current Australian Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Comfortable commuting and working from the South Melbourne Hub.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • A strong 'can-do' attitude, with proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Previous customer service experience is beneficial.
  • Stock control/logistics or related industry experience is desirable.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of motor vehicles is advantageous.
