Senior Electrical Engineer

This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who wants to be part of a growing team that values technical excellence and teamwork.

Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee engineering activities and technical design aspects of major projects.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience in electrical system requirements, capacity, cost, and project needs analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead senior engineers to deliver high-quality engineering work and ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Conceptualize and detailed designs for major projects, including tender assessment and contract technical specifications.
  3. Analyse electrical system requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  4. Foster a culture of collaboration within the engineering team and across the wider organization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer on complex energy projects (HV/EHV Substations, Transmission Lines, Renewable Energy).
  • Demonstrated expertise in detailed design and technical investigations.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering) and certifications (CPEng or eligibility).
  • Membership with a relevant professional institution (e.g., Engineers Australia).
