Job Title: Senior Director, People and Performance

This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who wants to make a real impact on organisational performance and employee well-being.

As the Senior Director of People and Performance, you will lead a team that supports over 1,500 staff members across various employment matters. This includes providing expert advice and guidance to executives and supervisors on their people management responsibilities such as performance management, workplace culture, flexible work arrangements, injury management, recruitment, and other employment practices and policies.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to have difficult conversations, think strategically, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering projects, programs, and initiatives that contribute to organisational and whole-of-government HR priorities.

In addition to your expertise in human resources, you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to achieve common goals. Your ability to work flexibly, with up to two days per week spent in the office, will be highly valued.
