Technical Program Lead

As a Technical Program Lead at Virtusa, you will be responsible for leading technical programs to deliver business outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align delivery to the product roadmap and ensure effective collaboration across multiple squads.
  • Manage and execute quarterly plans, ensuring all required resources are engaged and procured in line with stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide regular reporting on delivery and flow metrics, utilizing agile and lean delivery metrics to provide insight and feedback on team performance.
  • Establish and maintain governance controls to ensure sustainability and ownership, while adhering to organisational policies and standards.
  • Identify, track, and manage technology risks and issues, facilitating timely response and resolution to ensure the path is smooth for the delivery team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and psychological safety within the product team and across the organisation.
  • Apply strong adaptive leadership and management skills to uphold the integrity of the portfolio.

Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in technical program management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of agile portfolio and program management, or strategy/business planning.
  • Ability to lead a team of delivery managers and business analysts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
