Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive system admin/engineer to join our IT team.

  • A strong understanding of automation, configuration management, and modern DevOps practices is essential to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Design and implementation of Linux and Windows server images.
  • Experience with Terraform and Puppet is mandatory.
  • Build and configure server operating systems, ensuring documentation and SOPs are created and maintained.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Puppet, Terraform, PowerShell, vRealize Automation.
  • Apply CI/CD principles to streamline server deployment and configuration processes.
  • Implement and maintain server security hardening practices and manage vulnerability remediation.
  • Conduct server validation and assurance activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage SOEs for Linux and Windows servers.
  • Build and configure server operating systems, ensuring documentation and SOPs are created and maintained.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Apply CI/CD principles.
  • Implement and maintain server security hardening practices.
  • Conduct server validation and assurance activities.
Desirable Qualifications:

  • Exposure to ITIL practices and service management tools.
