Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team, focusing on infrastructure expertise. As a key member of our multi-cloud Infrastructure and Delivery Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering Cloud Landing Zones and modernization projects.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones
Assist with infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
Secure foundational cloud implementations
Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
Present infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
Improvements to monitoring, logging and observability in client environments
Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
Work cross-functionally with our delivery management team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development
Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks
Google Cloud Platform certification desirable
Experience with infrastructure-based processes such as monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, data centre exit
Experience with Google Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementations
Experience with data centre exit strategies
