Cloud Engineer with Infrastructure Expertise

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team, focusing on infrastructure expertise. As a key member of our multi-cloud Infrastructure and Delivery Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering Cloud Landing Zones and modernization projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones
  • Assist with infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
  • Secure foundational cloud implementations
  • Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
  • Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
  • Present infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
  • Improvements to monitoring, logging and observability in client environments
  • Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
  • Work cross-functionally with our delivery management team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development
  • Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks
  • Google Cloud Platform certification desirable
  • Experience with infrastructure-based processes such as monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, data centre exit
  • Experience with Google Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementations
  • Experience with data centre exit strategies
