About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position to start at the beginning of term. The successful candidate will be required to support a Year 3 student with neurodiversity needs, demonstrating expertise in creating individualized education plans and differentiated learning programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized learning strategies aligned to NCCD documentation.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, families, allied health professionals, and support staff to create a consistent approach.
- Provide behaviour and engagement strategies using trauma-informed practice and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
- Communicate effectively using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), visuals, and language supports.
- Mentor, coordinate, and upskill colleagues in inclusive practice.
- Provide respectful support with personal care and dignity.
