Job Overview

As a Digital Insights Analyst, you play a pivotal role in driving profitable growth within the e-commerce sector, focusing on enhancing the digital customer journey. Your primary responsibility involves comprehensive analysis of user interactions, website traffic, product performance, and sales metrics across all digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications. You will monitor essential performance indicators, create insightful reports, and discern trends to provide data-driven recommendations aimed at refining website functionality, boosting user engagement, and increasing conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough web analytics across various markets for all digital platforms, gathering and analyzing data related to website performance, user behavior, conversion rates, and bounce rates to identify trends and areas for enhancement. Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards that summarize key insights, presenting actionable recommendations to the regional digital team and stakeholders. Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of A/B and multivariate testing to assess the impact of website modifications, optimizing features, content, and user pathways for improved conversion. Perform customer segmentation and cohort analysis to gain insights into the behaviors and preferences of distinct customer groups, including product performance and user experience; implement tagging and tracking solutions to ensure accurate data collection and maintain data integrity across various digital channels. Serve as an expert user of SQL and data enablement platforms, acting as a liaison for global teams and the regional digital team during data transformation, while leading the upskilling of the regional digital team. Collaborate with marketing, customer activation, and e-commerce teams to assess the effectiveness of online campaigns, return on advertising spend (ROAS), product and category performance, and customer behavior, recommending strategic adjustments to enhance sales and inventory management.

Qualifications:

To excel in the role of Digital Insights Analyst, you should possess strong analytical and technical skills, with a solid grasp of web analytics metrics and key performance indicators. You should be adept at interpreting data and translating complex information into actionable insights and recommendations. Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and principles, along with an understanding of the broader digital ecosystem, is essential. Furthermore, you should be an effective communicator, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement data-informed strategies and tests.

What You Need to Succeed:

Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar software, alongside advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, or equivalent for data manipulation and reporting. Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experience in conducting experiments to optimize website elements. Expertise in SQL and experience with cloud-based data platforms. Familiarity with web technologies and tracking implementations, including tagging, pixels, and cookies. Strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing strategies, and user experience principles. Ability to adapt to evolving industry best practices and emerging analytics tools and techniques. A proactive, curious, and innovative approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or Economics. A minimum of 2 years of experience in web analytics, preferably within the e-commerce or fashion retail sectors, demonstrating a track record of value-adding improvements and a proven ability to leverage data-driven insights for decision-making and optimizing online customer experiences.

Additional Information:
